Huda Beauty Naughty Nude Eyeshadow Palette It’s such a lovely palette and I’m surprised I liked it because, really, Naked Palettes are just eh lately aren’t they? But this palette really spoke to me with it’s earthy tones mixed with pops of green and teal. Urban Decay Naked Wild West Eyeshadow PaletteI never ever thought I’d have fallen in love with this as much as I have. I have the packaging acting like a book under my lamp in my room and it looks super cute.Ahhh the blessed eyeshadow palette! Do we need more? Probably not but I’ve somehow, someway rediscovered my love of eyeshadow palettes lately and there are plenty of new, old, and on sale ones you can sang at during the Sephora Spring Savings Event! Get 20% off if you’re Rouge or 15% off if you’re BI with code SAVESPRING. I love my little palette and now that it’s in my eyeshadow drawer I think I am much more likely to use it more often. Last but not least, pop your shadows in your palette! I think the palette is a pretty good size for being called “Baby.” I only had one mini casualty, but it was salvageable. Most obviously, the biggest difference with deporting in a cardboard palette versus plastic is you can’t use heat to loosen the glue, unless you want to start a fire.Ĥ.I don’t know if it’s because the palette’s a little older or if the cardboard is simply easier than plastic, but it wasn’t too bad. I didn’t find the glue to be that difficult to get up. I dug down first to loosen the glue, then worked my way across and under the length of the pan to get it up and out.If one side has a larger gap than the other, work from that side first.Slowly and carefully, I worked one by one and shimmied the little tool around the pan. You can really see just how large the packaging is when the decorative parts of it are stripped away and you’re just left with the eyeshadow pans.ģ. I took off the top layer of cardboard to get down to the pan. That way, if they broke, I wouldn’t be too upset.Ģ. I started with the ice blue and charcoal color because they are my least used, if ever. I started with looking over the palette and deciding which color or two would be my tester. The palette comes with a little instruction card, magnets, and the tool you need for depotting.ġ. I would much rather have that than them flying all over though. It was actually hard to move the shadows once I placed them down. It feels very durable and the magnet is super strong. I got the Sephora Collection Baby Z Palette, which is only $10. The magnetic sides are super strong keeping all your items in place. This pallette is large enough to fit all your single pans of eyeshadow, blushes and bronzers. I was nervous about buying a Z Palette because I didn’t want to break my shadows and because I was afraid I wouldn’t try depotting in the first place, but this was a wild success! I decided I needed to depot one of my favorite palettes, Too Faced’s Joy To The Girls! As an English major, I was immediately a sucker for the book-like packaging and have kept it since my project. The SEPHORA COLLECTION Z Palette Dome is a must have for anyone looking to organize their makeup collection. I’m very guilty of starting projects and never finishing them, if I even start (there’s an infamous DIY chandelier my roommates make fun of me about).
